Getting Organised for 2015
I have made only one New Year’s Resolution this year – NOT to make any New Year’s Resolutions!
I’m setting myself new goals, challenges and plans and will achieve them, just as I did last year, due to the fact I’m organised and focussed and I actually WANT to do them (yes really – and herein lies the problem I fear with many other people and their “resolutions”).
Stuff I want to do this year are a range of business, personal, blog and quirky fun things (stand-up paddle boarding anyone?). I have learned the hard way about time management. I’m the type of person who always needs a project, however I have the type of brain which is always thinking faster than I can keep up so I tend to start several projects at the same time and am always thinking about several more. This is not good for efficiency! I always keep a “Project List” on my phone and another stuck to the wall above my desk which means I can concentrate on one single project without the fear of forgetting the 60 other awesome ones I want to do later. This is key – doing less but achieving more (I repeat – doing less and achieving more!)
We have a stack of great printables which can help you with your own goals and challenges for 2015. If you are a total newbie, I suggest starting with our Family Calendar which will help you get your family organised. No more rushing around when you have this working!! If you need help in the cooking department, why not try our Monthly Cooking and Menu Planner. You will be amazed at how many meals you can make quickly and easily!
The final (and my personal favourite) printable you need is our Personal Projects Printables. I use these little babies every single day and they work a treat. The trick here is not try and do everything in one month. Space out your goals and work on one thing at a time (doing less and achieving more!).
I know that if you spend a little time getting things in order, your 2015 will start off smoothly and with a lot less stress. Need help or have questions? We are happy to help!! drop us a line or catch up with us at our Facebook & Twitter pages!!
