School Holiday Ideas and your FREE Printable Holiday Planner!
Well it is school holidays again and we are on the hunt for loads of fun and cheap ideas to keep the kids amused!
Thankfully it is starting to warm up in Sydney so we will be able to get out of the house a little more – yay!!
If you are wondering what to do with your kids these holidays – remember to download your FREE School Holiday Planner! Stick it up on your fridge and get the kids to do the work for you!
Some great ideas for these holidays are…
Go to the movies
Do some baking – little ones love Sweetheart Bikkies!
Visit a new park for some bike riding or scootering fun!
Have a day out for a milkshake, an ice cream or a cafe lunch
If you are still light on ideas, try looking up your local council on the net. Most will have list of events and activities scheduled for the holiday time. Libraries may have craft days or events, there may be markets or kids events to do or classes you can try. Our local area always has a stack of holiday camps and half/full day activities for kids. Miss N is heading out to an Art Class and a Tennis Day and she is pretty excited about both! If you have a YMCA near you – check them out! They are well known for great kids’ holiday activities and most are 50% refundable under the Child Care Rebate. Check with your local centre!!
As for us, (apart from Art and Tennis) we are visiting family, taking Miss N out so she can spend her saved-up-cash, going to free craft days at our local Bunnings (totally cool – look up your local store!!) and hopefully fitting in a few play days and other things too.
Have Fun and Stay Safe These Holidays!!
