Thermomix Smoothie Cubes
By now you probably all know how much I love smoothies for a quick and easy breakfast. Healthy, filling and quick – it’s a great on-the-go alternative to the usual breakfast fare.
I’ve been working on making this even quicker, while making use of any excess fruit we have on hand. Enter Smoothie Cubes!
The Smoothie Cubes are frozen smoothie bases. Which means you can prepare them when you have a heaps of bananas or strawberries when they are starting to look sad. Thermomix Smoothie Cubes (makes 28 cubes)
20gm of flaxmeal
150gm strawberry yoghurt (or flavour if choice)
2 ripe bananas

The How To
I use 4 of the cake pop sized ‘cubes’ to 1 cup of milk and add a dollop of honey. Buzz in 10 second increments on speed 9 until your milk is frothy and all the cubes are crushed and incorporated.
