Miss E turns 5 – it’s a Yellow Party!
My beautiful girl turned FIVE yesterday.
She has turned our world upside down in the most wonderful ways imaginable and I wouldn’t have it any other way. She is kind hearted and fun loving, and her favourite colour is yellow, which is a perfect match for her sunny disposition.
So it was determined early on this year that her party would be a yellow party. Being the first year at school and having lots of room to roam outside, I made the decision to invite her whole class. It was a crazy day, but awesome.
Thankfully the weather was wonderful, because trying to fit all those kids and related adults at home would have been like playing sardines!
I’ll do a proper party post soon, but here are a few shots of the day…
The food tent (where the good stuff is at…)
The cake… Baked and partly iced by me, then finished off by A1…
The party girl, waiting to blow out her candles…
And finally, at 6pm, I got to sit down and enjoy some cake myself!
Do you do themes for you children’s parties? If so, what’s been the favourite theme so far?
