Apparently it can.
My Pintrest addiction has again come out a winner, allowing me to find this sensation of a recipe from Hungry Girl.
Once I read this, I was instantly hooked….my type of cooking! Its a chuck-it-all-in-and-hope-it-works kind of thing and I’m just a teensy bit miffed I didn’t think of it first!!
It will definitly appeal to all those with egg allergies (Take Note Mel – no more cakes with egg replacer) and those who don’t like excess butter and oil…..why? because there is none! Honestly, its genius!!
THE HOW-TO:
Go out and buy 1 x Packet Mix of Betty Crocker Super Moist Devils Food Cake. Mix into this;
1 x Cup fat free Greek yoghurt and
1 x Cup water
Then bake in a preheated oven at 180 deg C until a skewer inserted comes out clean. I actually baked at 200deg C as I made cupcakes and had to adjust the temp – they took approx 15 mins for regular size and 8-10 for mini.
What you end up with is a super moist and yummy cake of chocolatey deliciousness. Perfect for Miss N to decorate with Easter Chocs!!
